Alacrity Solutions Team,

Through the efforts of many on the Alacrity Solutions team, we have reconnected with Westfield to review current needs resulting in several operational changes to their Service Level Agreement (SLA) we want to make you aware of.  The SLA has been updated and a few changes from the previous CPA are highlighted below.  As always, please review and understand the entire SLA prior to handling assignments.

SLA Highlights

  • Estimating Platform
    • Auto:  CCC
    • HE:  AdjustRite
  • Parts Usage – LKQ and Certified A/M should be considered on:
    • First Party – >18 months or > 18,000 miles
    • Third Party – >12 months or > 12,000 miles
    • No A/M on structural metal components
    • Certified A/M not applicable to specialty losses
  • Betterment & Depreciation
    • No betterment if replacing just one tire, a battery, or minor mechanical items if they do not affect the ACV of the vehicle.
    • If taken, should be accompanied by an explanation to reflect the betterment to be measurable, itemized, and specific to a dollar amount. Maximum betterment/depreciation should not exceed 50% of the total value of the damages.
  • UPD Estimate Required if applicable.
  • Include Towing and Storage on all estimates.
  • Fire/Flood/Recovered Thefts
  • Please pay close attention to SLA details for these loss types.
  • Notify claims professional and APD Unit Leader, if necessary, and assist Special Investigation Unit (SIU) if anything out of the ordinary is determined or located during the inspection process.
  • Total Loss
    • If threshold is met in CCC
      • Mark as 15 – Total loss
      • Complete CCC BCIF and call in
      • Obtain Copart Proquote and attach pdf in FMS
    • At 50% or more of threshold perform the following
      • Leave it marked as repairable in CCC AND
      • Complete BCIF and call in
      • Obtain Copart Proquote and attach pdf in FMS
    • CCC codes
      • Standard Auto.
        • CCC ID -All states except RI – 73295
        • CCC ID – RI Only – 92100
      • Specialty – VVS call in.
        • VVS – ID WCIA15
