Through the efforts of many on the Alacrity Solutions team, we have reconnected with McLane Company to review current needs resulting in several operational changes to their CPA we want to make you aware. The CPA has been updated and the changes from the previous CPA are highlighted below. As always, please review and understand the entire CPA prior to handling assignments.
CPA Updates
Auto Bundled Rate:
- Standard Auto Estimate, Total Loss, Supplement auto bundled rate – $183.00
Total Loss Pricing (Ancillary):
- Standard auto – CCC Call In using Client ID (McLane Only) – $60.00
- Classic/Exotic auto – CCC Call In using Client ID (McLane Only) – $141.00
- Evaluation Form only (CCC/ADP/VVS) – Included
Mileage and Fees:
- $1.39 per mile
Long Distance Pricing:
- $.82/mile starting from mile one will be charged for all assignments requiring 101 miles or more roundtrip in addition to the base mileage charge.
- Mileage approval required over 100 Miles
Time and Expense (T&E):
- Heavy Equipment/Property (All Lines) – $145.00
Mileage and Fees:
- Drive Time + Miles: $1.39 per mile
State Specific Auto DOI Re-inspections:
- State Specific Auto DOI Re-inspections (CA/MA) (Post Repair) – $92.00
- State Specific Auto DOI Re-inspections (CA/MA) (During Repair) – $72.00
- Estimating platform: Mitchell Cloud Estimating
- Custom AM parts not covered on insured vehicle unless there is an OEM endorsement.
- Custom AM parts covered on claimant vehicle if coverage exists, and liability accepted.
- Sublet utilized for glass and other applicable parts.
- Towing to appear as a line item on the estimate.
- Repair facility information and tax id listed on appraisal.
- Setup at body rate, maximum 2 hours.
- PDR should be used when feasible.
- Secure permission from owner to move the vehicle.
- Prior Damage Unrelated and Related required to write a UPD/RPD estimate for all prior physical damage. Condition the vehicle down.
- CCC Valuation called in when estimate exceeds 60% of NADA.
- Only mark as a Total Loss when the estimate exceeds 70% of NADA unless otherwise state specified.
- CCC Call In using the following Office IDs for McLane ONLY
- 68037 CVS – PPV Private Passenger
- 54190 CRV – Commercial Recreational Vehicle
- 71702 VVS – RIVVS Private Passenger (Rhode Island Only)
- Document instant value and quote ID in Alacrity Condition/Total Loss Report
