Network Announcement – Liberty Mutual Insurance | Go Live Monday, April 03

Liberty Mutual has placed their confidence in our Alacrity Solutions Network to deliver an exceptional work product for their customers.  This new volume will be completed in the CCC One estimating platform and detailed requirements are defined in the Liberty Mutual Insurance CPA.  Please also review all Advisory Rule exceptions within CCC One and correct to ensure your estimate meets Liberty Mutual’s audit expectations. 

As we ensure you have the best and most available resources for your success on each file assigned, you will have a subject matter expert assigned who will reach out to you directly for the following:

  • Ensure the assignment has been received in your CCC inbox
  • All profile admin details have been received without error
  • At the time of inspection, reviewing side by side to ensure the CPA information and total end package is addressed to our client’s expectations prior to return to office
  • Reviewing with the office manager to ensure the end package is in line with the defined objectives

Please be on the lookout for a phone call from one of your AVPs if you receive one of these files as they will be your resource for immediate help on bringing these new CCC client files on board.

Noted below are several of the key procedures outlined in the CPA, however, please review the CPA in its entirety to understand our client’s expectations. 

CPA Updates

Important Billing Information:

Auto:

  • Fifty (50) miles included for Photos Only and Standard Auto files only.
  • All others are billed from mile one (1).
  • For total loss, please utilize CCC Valuation call in instructions for all claims, unless instructed differently from the adjuster.
  • Twenty-four (24) hour inspection
  • Provide a copy of repairable estimate to shop and owner.
  • Required to write and upload estimate from the inspection site.
  • Document all prior damages on the Condition Report and review with the vehicle owner.
  • Within the CPA, links are provided to assist with the following requirements:
    • Refer to Liberty Mutual’s Auto Labor Rate Reference for prevailing market rates.
    • Refer to Liberty Mutual’s Vendor Resource Tool for tools and guidance.
    • Refer to Hail Guidelines when handling hail assignments.
    • Refer to Flood Handling Guidelines and Liberty Mutual Standard Flood Allowance Guidelines when handling flood assignments.
    • Refer to Customization Guidelines for assignment involving customization.
    • Refer to Liberty PDR Worksheet and utilize PDR when feasible.
  • Please review and apply as appropriate the guidelines within the link Liberty Mutual Betterment and Depreciation Guidelines.  
  • No towing or storage on appraisal unless requested by client.
  • Repair facility information and tax id listed on appraisal.
  • Custom AM parts not covered on insured vehicle unless there is an OEM endorsement.
  • PDR should be used when feasible.
  • Custom AM parts covered on claimant vehicle if coverage exists, and liability accepted.
  • Sublet utilized for glass and other applicable parts.
  • Setup at body rate, maximum 2 hours.

    • Follow the Liberty Mutual Total Loss Inspection Guidelines
    • CCC Form must be called in for all total losses. Included in the CPA are links to:

VITAL TOTAL LOSS ISSUES: CCC called in for all total losses unless directed otherwise on the source document. Refer to the Liberty CCC IDs   link for the proper CCC ID.
