Today I am pleased to inform you that Alacrity Solutions has acquired Centro Inspection Agency (“Centro”). I want to give you a brief overview of Centro and what this expansion means to our company as we prepare to welcome new colleagues.
Centro, founded in 1987 and based in Lincroft, New Jersey, supplies mechanical expertise to automotive manufacturers and third-party administrators of automotive service contracts by maintaining a vast network of ASE certified and or OEM A-Level technicians throughout North America, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Some services offered by Centro include:
- Inspection and verification of mechanical failures for the automotive service contract and insurance industry.
- Claims documentation review and forensic services.
- Pre-Warranty Inspections to document the mechanical condition and appearance of vehicles prior to the sale of a vehicle service contract.
- Procedural and documentation review of Certified Pre-Owned programs.
- Facilitate fluid sample analysis by outside laboratories.
- In-court and Lemon Law case representation.
With the addition of Centro’s auto pre-warranty and mechanical failure appraisal expertise and nationwide network of inspectors, Alacrity has bolstered our ability to provide end-to-end claim solutions to P&C insurance and broader non-P&C customers.
This team, led by Trudi Della Fave, will be rebranded to Alacrity Solutions and function within the Specialty and Auto Solutions division of the company. They will maintain their existing goals and other day-to-day operational systems as part of the SAS division.
